This statement applies to all products and services supplied by Crateo.
Crateo, established in Rotterdam, is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy statement.
Personal data that we process
Crateo processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you have provided it to us yourself. Data that Crateo requires from you or that is necessary in the context of the purposes described below, and which is processed by Crateo in any case and at least, concerns:
- Initials and surname
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Company name
- Address details (consisting of street name house number postcode)
- Phone number (mobile or landline)
- Email address
- Bank details
Does Crateo also process special personal data?
Special categories of personal data are sensitive data, for example regarding health or a criminal record, ethnic data, or data concerning race. Crateo does not process special categories of personal data.
Why we need data
Once you have an agreement with van Crateo, we want to provide you with excellent service. We use your data for the following purposes:
- To be able to call or email you if necessary to carry out our services.
- To inform you about changes to our services and products.
- To deliver goods and services to you.
- If we are legally required to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.
- Data may also be used for promotional or marketing purposes, which are proportionate to the type of services provided by Crateo, such as displaying, managing, and improving this website, sending newsletters, and organizing meetings.
We may only use your data for a purpose other than that for which it was originally processed if there is a close relationship between the two purposes.
What rules apply to the processing of personal data?
In the processing of personal data, Crateo is bound by the applicable
laws and regulations and keeps track of developments therein. In this context, Crateo reserves the right to make changes to this privacy statement to align the text with the latest state of affairs, as stated at the bottom of this privacy statement.
How long we retain data
Crateo does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
Furthermore, we apply the following retention periods:
- Applicant data (when not hired) for up to 4 weeks after completion of application and longer only with consent (maximum 1 year);
- Project-related information for a maximum of 15 years after the completion of the project;
- Financial data is retained for 7 years;
- Backups are retained for a maximum of 2 years.
Sharing with others/provision of data to third parties
Crateo does not sell your data to third parties and provides it only if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.
Mapping website visits
Crateo uses only technical and functional cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit our websites. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the websites and your ease of use. They ensure that the websites function properly and, for example, remember your preferred settings. View, modify, or delete data
You naturally always have the option to view, correct, or delete all your personal data known to us. To do so, please send a specific request to info@crateo.nl.
Security
Crateo attaches great importance to the security and protection of your personal data. Crateo has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure and protect your personal data against loss, alteration, misuse, or any (other) form of unlawful processing. Every person at Crateo who has access to and/or processes personal data is obliged to maintain the confidentiality of such data, unless otherwise provided by law or regulation. In the event that Crateo uses the services of third parties, Crateo will make agreements regarding the necessary security measures in the context of the protection of personal data. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact us.
Your privacy rights
When you submit a request for access, correction, objection, or deletion of your personal data, Crateo will inform you about this within 5 working days. You can submit this request via info@crateo.nl.
